The clothing store also serves as one of our fundraisers for the team. A small portion of the profits from each item purchased will be donated to the team. Encourage our MGXC fans to purchase an item to support our team! There are lots of great options for supporters of MGXC to purchase from hats, to t-shirts, to youth-sized options.
There are no requirements to purchase items from the clothing store. The only required equipment you need to run cross country is a good pair of running shoes. However, many athletes like to purchase items from the clothing store to show their team spirit. If you were to only purchase one item from the store, we would recommend the Nike Windrunner Jacket (comes in both mens & womens fit). We are going to offer this jacket each year to serve as the “team jacket”. We do acknowledge that the jacket is one of the more expensive items in the clothing store. For the jacket, we selected to go with a brand commonly requested by our athletes and one specifically designed for running.
A few notes on other items on the clothing order:
Some items come in multiple color options, as well as different brand options to try and give everyone an opportunity to purchase items within their price point.
Many of the other items with the leaf XC logo are items we will try to offer each year or offer similar items. Many of these items were on the clothing order last year. If you are curious about sizing you could ask a team member what they would recommend and/or to try on their clothing item from last year.
The sweatshirt (hoodie & crewneck) for the 2025 season has two different options. One has the design screen printed and the other has the design embroidered. The embroidered version will be the more expensive of the two options.
Many of the items you can add name personalization. Many athletes select to do this to help keep track of which items are theirs at the start/end of races. Sweatshirts will have name personalization on the back, jackets will have the name personalization on the sleeve.
